- [Rule 1 - Bug] Fix httpx default User-Agent vs empty-string fgp mismatch in
test infrastructure: 10 tests were failing due to fgp check rejecting tokens
created with fgp="" when client sent "python-httpx/X.Y.Z"
DocumentCard classification_failed badge requires doc.status from the
API list endpoint. _doc_to_dict was omitting the field; this fix adds
it and adds a regression test that would have caught the omission.

- Replace synchronous await classifier.classify_document() with extract_and_classify.delay()
- Set doc.status='processing' and commit before dispatching Celery task
- Return {'document_id': str, 'status': 'processing'} instead of assigned topics
- Promote test_reclassify_requeues_celery from xfail stub to passing test
- Add test_reclassify_cross_user_returns_404 for IDOR security invariant (T-07-10)
Add 6 new tests covering document sort (name/size), FTS search cross-user
isolation, credentials_enc exclusion from all responses, and MinIO object
cleanup on user deletion.
Fix FTS try/except misplacement in api/documents.py — was wrapping the ORM
statement builder (never raises) instead of the execute call, causing HTTP 500
on SQLite test env. Now falls back to unfiltered results when @@ unsupported.

- oauth_initiate: pre-flight check returns 400 with env-var hint when
GOOGLE_CLIENT_ID/SECRET or ONEDRIVE_CLIENT_ID/SECRET are not configured,
preventing opaque MSAL/OAuth library 500 errors on misconfigured servers
- stream_document_content: broad except-clause catches non-CloudConnectionError
exceptions and returns 502 with user-friendly message (was raw 500)
- docker-compose.yml: add volumes: - ./backend:/app to celery-worker so code
changes are picked up by docker compose restart without a rebuild
- CloudStorageView: upload hint paragraph directs users to navigate into a
cloud folder; no DropZone added (no folder context at overview level)
- 3 new backend tests pass; 2 existing tests patched with credential monkeypatch;
full suite: 293 passed, 0 new failures, 1 pre-existing (test_extract_docx)

- Delete backend/data/ tracked files (D-04): flat-file metadata, settings.json,
topics.json, and uploaded files removed from git; backend/data/ added to
.gitignore (empty dir remains on macOS due to ACL — no tracked files remain)
- Prune backend/config.py: remove DATA_DIR, UPLOADS_DIR, METADATA_DIR,
TOPICS_FILE, ensure_data_dirs(); rebase SETTINGS_FILE as derived path from
settings.data_dir (Phase 1 flat-file settings kept per plan decision)
- Prune backend/tests/conftest.py: remove isolated_data_dir autouse fixture
and sync TestClient client fixture; add SQLite type compatibility shim
(visit_INET/JSONB) so in-memory db_session can create tables with
PostgreSQL-specific column types; add live_services_available fixture
- Rewrite backend/tests/test_documents.py: delete all legacy sync tests,
remove all @pytest.mark.xfail markers; async-only document tests now
use async_client + storage service directly for topic wiring
- Rewrite backend/tests/test_health.py: delete legacy sync test_health(client);
remove @pytest.mark.xfail from test_health_checks_postgres_and_minio
- Port backend/tests/test_topics.py to async_client (sync client removed)
